Tonight I am contemplating life as it washes over me. I lost my 7 months old cat 2 days ago. He stole my heart and took a bit of me with him and left me with a hole inside and a sense that our family is no longer complete. How can one little burst of energy make such a big impact in such a short time. Have you ever known a cat that is most comfortable laying in your arms on its back so he can see the world. He did not want to miss a moment and I wonder if he was fast tracking. But then the question is does an animal have a soul as we envisage from a human viewpoint. I have a sense that Kimba had been here before as his energy was so strong. I know I am grieving but I am also lucky that I got to share this short space of time of such an amazing life.
